DEPENDABILITY... EASE OF INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE... EXPERIENCE... INNOVATION...
are major considerations when designing or maintaining a laboratory. These are the same reasons to choose products from Scientific Plastics Company, Inc. Since the first major installation at Cambridge University in 1950, Vulcathene products have proven themselves as the first choice in Laboratory Drainage. With continuing innovation and development, Scientific Plastics now offers the most comprehensive range of laboratory drainage products in the world. The worldwide list of major installations now numbers in the tens of thousands. A constant effort has been made to minimize the difficulties of installation both for the new construction users, as well as users doing maintenance and repair. Innovations of the late 1960's produced the Vultite Mechanical systems, which is ideally suited for easy under-the-bench installation when space and time are at a premium. Vultite was the first laboratory drainage system to have NSF approval prior to introduction in the market. During the same period, we developed a complete line of seamlessly molded sinks. Uniquely, these sinks can be mounted conveniently below the countertop, or from above using a flush mounting rim. In the mid-1970's, we developed a complete range of adjustable riser traps; these units save literally hours of installation time since the installer can easily raise or lower the unit to meet his pipe stub. Adjustable riser traps require no tools, as they are fully functional with simple hand tightening. We are proud of our products, our service, and competitive prices. We pass the acid test every day in thousands of installations worldwide...may we serve you?
